The motto of the Foundation – Remember,
Honor, Serve – summarizes our mission. The Foundation seeks to educate
future generations to fully appreciate the sacrifices that American
armed forces have made to safeguard our nation’s freedom.
As a recognized charitable foundation, the World War II Airborne
Demonstration Team relies totally upon the generosity of the general
public, corporate donations and it’s membership for its very survival.
As a not for profit organization, 100% of its operating requirements are
met through fund raising activities. So remember, no gift is too small.
Whatever you can give to support the foundation will help us continue to
carry out our mission to remember, honor, and serve the airborne
veterans of WWII. In addition, our only means of future expansion,
development and long-term financial security will come from the
additional funds we can generate.
Your donation will be used to help the team conduct historical
demonstrations of actual WWII style parachute operations to honor the
veterans who fought and died to preserve freedom and to develop our new
base and museum at Frederick Army Airfield. We perform the
demonstrations at Air Shows, Veterans’ Anniversary Reunions, Civic
Events and other celebrations throughout the world. The Foundation also
participates in ongoing programs of education, research and publication
of historical data pertaining to military parachute theatres of
operation and takes this information to a whole new generation for whom
WWII is confined to the history books.
So, whatever you are able to give, will help us continue to carry out
our important work. A donation, no matter how small or practical
assistance in other ways is always welcome. We have made it as easy as
possible for you make your donation and because we are registered as a
501 (C) 3 Charitable Trust, this donation should be tax deductible as
determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
Making a donation to our Foundation will help us to preserve the
heritage and honor of those who served a grateful nation in the
preservation of the freedom we all enjoy today. We thank you for your
support.
