Our Heroes
As part of the Foundation’s
mission to Remember, Honor and Serve the Veterans of World War II, the
World War II Airborne Demonstration Team aims to keep the activities and
sacrifices of our WWII veterans alive through constantly engaging with
them and building awareness of their achievements.
To this end we have started to develop our new base at Frederick Army
Airfield, Oklahoma that, over time, will expand it into a living
memorial to the forces who took part in WWII Airborne operations. In
addition, we have built a network of Legacy Members who are a vital
source of information, expertise and inspiration to us all and enable us
to inform and educate the public at large. This, augmented with our
airborne operation demonstrations, make us a truly unique memorial to
the memory of those who fought and died to preserve the world’s freedom
during WWII.
