News: Summer Jump School Qualifies 14 more paratroopers

 

 

On 26 July 2008, the World War II Airborne Demonstration Team completed its 23rd Jump School with 14 more students completing their 5 qualifying jumps from our C-47 to attain their Golden Basic Parachutist Wings.

 Each student completed a rigorous training course which culminated in them receiving their wings from WWII veterans who attended the final days events at the team’s Open House.

 Watch out for more photos which will be posted shortly.

 To help us fulfill our mission to honor, remember and serve these WWII veterans, we now, more than ever need the help and generosity of the public to help sponsor the maintenance, operation, and ownership of both of these fine aircraft.

With the acquisition of our new aircraft, we are now able to offer a new "ride-along" Airborne experience. All Gold level Members will be entitled to a C-47 flight along with Jump Team members.
